This is a setting without words of a poem by Inagaki Taruho as translated by Tricia Vita and included in the collection One Thousand and One-Second Stories (Sun & Moon Classics). It is part of a suite entitled The Indelible Mr. Moon based on images inspired by his poems :

Last evening someone came up to my pillow and
whispered something repeatedly but because I didn't
understand one word of what he was saying I kept quiet
whereupon that someone let out a tremendous sigh
and left. Now as I recall It seems that it was Mr. Moon who
descended from last night's sky illuminated
in a milky mist.
